Having directed both musicals and straight plays for over 43 years, I've developed the ability to work with actors to help them realize their full potential. Grounded in the teachings of Stanislavski, Strasberg, Hagen and Meisner, I work with students on the basic "tools" of acting - vocal and physical control, emotional availability and honesty, character development and script analysis.

With an emphasis on audition preparation, I work with students primarily using monologues, however I will also do scene work with two students wanting a session together.

Adults, teens and children are welcome. Some experience is preferred but not required. Occasional group classes are offered for beginning to advanced students. Please indicate on the Inquiry form if you would like to be added to the mailing list for information about upcoming classes.
